The majority of B2B sales professionals that I work with have never sold their products to a homeowner. They have a limited understanding of how their products are sold, and that’s a liability. In order to gain a complete understanding of their sales cycle I recommend that they accompany their customers on B2C sales calls. It provides a better understanding of the entire sales cycle as well as the real-world challenges and opportunities their clients face on a regular basis.
