Picasso handles the price objection.

Picasso handles the price objection.

One afternoon Picasso was languidly sitting on a park bench. A woman nervously approached the artist. “Sir,” she inquired, “Will you do me the honor of sketching my likeness?” Picasso considered the request. Moments later he pulled a scrap of paper and a charcoal pencil from his pocket. Picasso’s hand flew across the small bit of paper. Minutes later he finished. Then, with equal speed, he turned the paper over and wrote “$4000.000” before presenting the bill to the stranger. The woman stammered “That price is unfair…how can you ask me for so much money when the work took mere minutes to complete ?” Picasso raised his penetrating eyes. “No ma’am,” he replied, “it took me a lifetime.”
